We all have read several instructions about (not) singing in the classroom, sharing instruments and playing games with our students due to the danger of spreading the COVID 19. We are deeply concerned about our students’ safety and at the same time seek for ideas to make our lesson interesting and safe (in person and in distance learning). What about listening to excellent music? It can never be out of a music lesson. Here are some ideas I tried to during this hard period: Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons" through m y Listening Maps offer a completely safe way to involve kids with music. Children will realize the musical form of these pieces, imagine pictures of nature, listen to different rythms and tempos , recognize string instruments , draw their own pictures on the maps, try their own melodies for these pictures of nature and more.
